Make No Little Plans

Daniel Burnham was an architect.  He was involved in the planning of major projects in Chicago, Washington, D.C. and many buildings across our country and beyond.  He said, "Make no little plans.  Little plans have no magic to stir men's blood and probably will not of themselves be realized."

In Ephesians 3:20-21 the Apostle Paul said, "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." God does not make small plans for His people. There may be small events as part of His plan, but He always has bigger ideas than we do.

We need plans to stir the hearts of believers into action. "Baptist Associations exist for the welfare of the local church and to expend itself in her care taking, protection, and equipping for her calling of ministry." This is a quote from Ray Gilder, National Coordinator of the Bi-vocational Small Church Leadership Network. The primary purpose of an Association of churches is the development of the local churches and ministries that complement the local church causes.

Pray for the Sandy Creek Baptist Association.  Work with us. the key to every event is leader involvement and participation. Get connected in the events available; Sunday School Conferences, VBS Training, Youth and Children's Camps, assisting other churches with building projects.  Resourcing and funding is what an association is about.

Without participation from individuals and churches, the Association does not exist. Thank you for your support to Sandy Creek Baptist Association.

Living for His Return,

Bro. Bob
